# NudgeR Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 12, 2026

NudgeR is designed as a local-first relationship reminder app. The relationship details you enter, including names, dates, phone numbers, notes, preferences, reminders, events, and backup text, are stored on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

## Information NudgeR Handles

NudgeR may handle:

- Your profile details, such as name, birthday, city or area, and preferences.
- Important-person details, such as names, relationship type, phone numbers, birthdays, anniversaries, preferences, activities, notes, and reminder settings.
- Relationship events that you create in the app.
- Local reminder completion history.
- Local referral click history for in-app action links.
- Subscription status from RevenueCat.

## Device Permissions

NudgeR may request permission to:

- Access contacts so you can choose a person and fill their name, phone number, birthday, or anniversary on your device.
- Add calendar events that you choose to create.
- Send local notifications for relationship reminders.
- Open SMS drafts that you can review before sending.

NudgeR does not send your contacts, calendar data, SMS contents, or local relationship notes to a NudgeR server.

## Purchases

NudgeR uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and purchase status. RevenueCat may receive purchase identifiers, subscription status, store transaction information, app instance identifiers, and related diagnostics needed to operate subscriptions. Store payments are processed by Apple or Google.

## Backups

Backup export creates local JSON text that may contain your profile, relationship data, events, and reminders. You control where that backup is stored or shared.

## Affiliate Links

NudgeR may show links to third-party services for gifts, flowers, restaurants, or related actions. Opening those links may share information with the third-party site according to that site's privacy policy.

## Data Deletion

You can delete NudgeR data from the Settings screen. Deleting app data removes local profile, people, event, reminder, referral, and subscription cache data from the device. Subscription history remains available through Apple, Google, and RevenueCat as required for billing and account recovery.
